Troop 73 set out for winter tent camping at High Cliff State Park from Dec 1-3, 2023. The cold, snowy conditions provided a bit of challenge for the Scouts. Those new to cold-weather camping learned valuable lessons about properly securing tents and layering clothing. Patrol cooking was excellent throughout, with egg-scramble breakfast, grilled cheese / ham & cheese lunch, and jambalaya dinner providing warmth and energy! Saturday afternoon the Scouts made an excursion to Urban Air in Appleton for climbing, jumping, pugil battles, warrior course, and of course cart racing.
